Digital Radiography involves placing an electronic sensor into your mouth. The sensor is connected to a computer and allows us to see right away on the computer screen dental issues that cannot be seen by physical inspection of your teeth alone.
Advantages of Digital Radiography:
- Less Radiation. While traditional x-rays are used carefully by dentists and the radiation levels are low, digital radiography uses up to 90% less radiation than traditional x rays!
